Betting Preview
Sheff Wed v Ipswich
Sheffield Wednesday were denied a place in the Premier League by a 1-0 defeat to Hull City in the Playoff Final at Wembley in May and they are once again among the favourites for promotion this season. They have won six of their last ten matches and seven of their last nine at home. Ipswich have won just one of their last eight matches and they have failed to score in six of those games. They have scored a league-low of two goals in seven away games this season and they have only won three of their 19 matches on the road in 2016 (D7, L9).
Bolton v Grimsby
Bolton have won all of their last six matches in all competitions, scoring a total of 11 goals in the process and conceding just one. They are currently flying high in second place on the League One table and they are among the favourites to make an immediate return to the Championship in May. Grimsby of League Two have scored a total of just three goals in their last nine matches and one in their last six. Against the meanest defence in the league above theirs, Grimsby's lack of firepower will offer little in the way of optimism for their travelling supporters.
Besiktas v Trabzonspor
Besiktas are unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions as they seek to retain the title after last season's Super Lig success. They have won 13 of their last 14 home league games (D1, L0), scoring a total of 38 goals in the process and conceding just nine. Trabzonspor have collected just eight points from a possible 24 in their last eight league games and they have lost 13 of their 16 matches on the road in the last 12 months, conceding 36 goals and scoring just eight along the way.
